Final preparations are wrapping up here in Lisbon.  The rain continues, and even turned to hail this afternoon.  Sid's mates from England have been busy mounting tires, and Niles has been knocking things off this punch list for Jonah's bikes.

Tomorrow is scrutineering, and we have to have the airplane boxes (which the organization carries for each rider) to them before we head there.  After spending hours and hours dealing with French bureaucracy tomorrow, we get to come back to the hotel and figure out how to get all this stuff and all these tires onto the truck.  We've done it before, I'm confident it will all fit in.  I hope.

Then, finally, on Saturday, the race starts!
