A tough day for the racers today..  Jonah finished well in 8th place and moved up to 6th overall.  He said it was 3.5 hours of hard riding..  no chance for a break.

But the team is happy with the result today, and look forward to heading to the Atacama Desert tomorrow.

Tonight's bivouac is sandy and extremely windy..  a real Dakar bivouac.  We've had enough of the grass and trees, now we are in the race.
