Today the entire race, assistance and all, went over 14,000 feet to cross the Andes.  The racers had a relatively short special after the descent (they raced about 100 miles).  Jonah finished 15th, and dropped to 8th overall.

He wasn't happy with his finish, but felt good on the bike.  Day 4 in the books, plenty more to come.

Tomorrow is a long special, about 300 miles of racing up to Antofagasta.  Should be a good one and will likely shake up the standings a bit.
