Press Release: Rally Pan Am ready for the start

The San Francisco, California based Rally Pan Am team has returned for its 7th Dakar Rally.  The team's top rider, Jonah Street, is prepared to challenge all other competitors for a podium finish in this world-class cross-country rally.  Jonah is backed by Top One Oil and PAi, and will ride a KTM 690RR motorcycle specially prepared by the team.  Clearing customs with their vehicles and passing the rally's extensive technical checks, the team has been in Argentina since just after Christmas.  Street says, "I'm super-ready to get going."

Rally Pan Am supports more than just top level riders.  This year, four riders from Canada, Mexico and Australia will share the team's mechanics and support vehicles; three on bikes prepared by the team.  The riders set out from Buenos Aires on a transfer stage on New Year's Day.  Racing starts in earnest on January 2 and continues for 16 hard days.
